Second meeting with Jonathan

We decided to meet up with Jonathan to talk through the plans for the next couple of days and a general catch up. We started off by talking about the scrip, we had given him a copy of the scrip a week before and it was great to get his thoughts. To me it sounded like he really enjoyed it, as he used to suffer from agoraphobia he said that he could relate to the scrip and that had told us that he had been trying to get in to character.  This was great, as he had really understood the scrip and the motifs. He told us that when he suffered from panic attacks that he used to hind under his covers and that the cupboard scene was a unique way of evoking these emotions.

In our last meeting we talk about props, he told us that he had a lot of them like the suit and pictures that we where allowed to use. We really wanted the room look homely, the pictures would play a key part in telling the backstory of this solider. For his last film he played a soldier so had a lot of the props that we where looking for.  As a filmmaker himself him self he was interested to know what camera we would be using, we talked about the equipment that we had booked out and the problems we had booking out lenses for the 70D.  He then talked a bit about his past experience in filming and told us that he had a Canon 5D mark 2 that we where allowed to use. This was really helpful as it help is get out of difficult situation, we now had a great camera and a verity of lenses we could use.

The meeting went really well and I was really looking forward to start filming.
