Two weeks ago we had a tutorial with our seminar tutor to talk about a couple of ideas we had for our experimental film project. we both had a clear of idea of what we wanted the film to look like i was attacking the film in quite a formal way by using different panels to represent what was been heard. E.G sound of alarm clock would be shown with an image of a clock, while my partner want to try something quite abstract have a video while evolved around this drum kit, we would have extreme close of this kit followed by long sweeping pans on the country side juxtapositioning two ideas.
All though i really like oscars i did we both agreed that go with my idea of having different panels to represent the sound but we also came up with ways in which to improve the idea, instead of the visuals been very literal but to use extreme close ups and slow zooms to slight confuse the audience. also at the top would be a time lapse of sheffield.
