First Editing
After recoding variety of sounds i uploaded them to Pro Tools i wanted to keep the sound very pure so haven't used any effects. Im trying to focus my work around this idea of music and that everyday objects have rhythm.
I didn't find this process easy as it was my first time using Pro Tools, i found it very difficult to replicate the beat in my head using the software. Even the simplest things to do i found very difficult and found it hard switching from Soundtrack to Pro Tools. Although we where given the option to use Soundtrack i opted to use Pro Tools as it would be the software we would use throughout university so i thought i would use the time now to get used to it.
The beat i created was a very simple and only had two layers, the top layer was the alarm clock, which acts like a metronome and the door closing acts as the bass drum.
