Final Edit

For the final edit we made the improvements that Neil told us to make, by getting rid of the shot from outside and holding the shots of Jonathan face for longer. I was really happy with the edit and how it turned out, although we had to change it from the original scrip.  The first half of the film is great I wanted to keep that pace for the rest of the film but due to the time restriction’s I felt that the second half is a little rushed, this isn’t the editor fault but mine of making the scrip too long.

In the sound edit we had a couple of problems as pro tools didn’t work on lots of the computers, the sound waves wouldn’t show up and as we where editing sound that made a really small waveform it was hard to edit and line the in synch sound up with the footage. Considering Adam had never used Pro Tool before I thought he did a great job of editing the sound and had some creative ideas of how we could bring the outside sounds in.

Overall I’m very happy with the final edit, we had a couple of problems on the way but we managed to get over them.
